What is Fire Ant First Aid Cream?

Fire Ant First Aid Cream is a holistic first aid product containing emu oil and propolis.  It provides cool soothing relief to the sting, lessens swelling and symptoms, and promotes healing.

How does it work?

Propolis has been used for hundreds of years for various ailments becuase of it's antibiotic and immune boosting properties.  Our formula combines it with emu oil to carry it quickly deep into the skin.

Why is it so expensive?

Both emu oil and propolis are expensive and we use high percentages in our product.  Even with using propolis from our own beehives there is much work on both the part of the bees and the beekeeper to produce the small quantites collected from each hive.

How do I use it?

For fire ants apply a generous, heavy coat of cream on the affected area immediately after being bit for best results. The affected area should have a white layer of cream.  Reapply every 15 minutes for the next hour and again before bed.  Use as needed after the first 24 hours. 

What if I wait?

It will still help though your chance of forming pustules are greater.  The cream will help relieve the itching, pain and swelling and speed healing.

Is it good for anything else?

Yes, it is effective on other insect bites.   Some people use it for sunburn relief.  One lady used it on poison ivy blisters with good results.

What if I’m allergic to an insect sting or bite?

Fire Ant First Aid Cream will not prevent a true allergic reaction to any insect bite or sting.  If you have a true allergic reaction you should seek the help of a medical professional immediately.  If you have a history of allergic reactions you should follow the advice of your medical professional.

Why does the 1/2 oz and the 1 oz photos look the same?  

The lids on both tubs are the same size, one container is just shorter than the other.
